When is the best time to stop by to make a physical donation?
Our front desk is manned Monday thru Wednesday from 9am to 1pm. This is always the best time to stop by, but if you would like to make arrangements for times outside this window, please call the office at 303-841-4043 to arrange a time to stop by. If you are making a donation of farm supplies (fencing, t-posts, etc), please coordinate in advance so we can have someone ready to help you unload.
How do I make a financial donation?
Please go to our website, affinityranch.org and click on the “Donate Now” button on our website. You will receive a tax receipt for your generous donation. You may also send a check, made out to Affinity Ranch, to 11892 Hilltop Rd, Parker, CO 80134. If you want to discuss your donation please reach out to shannon@affinityranch.org.
I would like to pick things to donate - do you have a wish list?
Yes, we have several wish lists. You can donate through Amazon here or through Chewy here.
Are there any services you need?
We are a working ranch and some of our systems are getting old or needing service - if you have skills in the following areas and are willing to be contacted when we need help, please let our Volunteer Coordinator know: plumbing, electrician, landscaping, fencing, and any other trade type job.
Do you take in horses and other animals?
Affinity Ranch is not a horse/animal rescue - all animals at our faciltiy are part of our programs - from our horses doing Equine Assisted Therapy and Mental Health, to our goat and chickens as part of our mental health and supported employee programs, and our cats being our welcoming committee and mouse control. We cannot accept animals that are not used in our programs. If you have a horse you believe could be used in our programs, visit the Equine Intake Form webpage and complete the form to start the process of evaluating your horse
I have a Horse I want to donate or lease to your program - how does that work?
Please go to: https://www.affinityranch.org/donate-a-horse and complete an intake form. Our Equine Manager will then contact you to discuss further and schedule a visit if appropriate.
Do you take donations of guinea pigs, barn cats, parrots, etc?
At present, we are not accepting small animals or birds.
I have tack, saddles, horse blankets, saddle stands, horse clothing, etc. that I would like to donate. Can you use it?
Yes, we will always take gently used donated tack or other horse equipment. If we cannot use it we will sell it at an upcoming tack sale and use the proceeds to support our programs. We will provide you with an “in kind” donation letter. It is your responsibility to value the donation.
Other than tack, are there other items you would like donated?
Definitely! We are a working ranch, so there are always things we need... T-Posts, Live Stock Panels, Wood Posts, Fence Wire, and Garden Tools to name a few things. We can also use Gift cards for Amazon or Chewy (for food, treats, etc).
